Characterised by the treatment of the whole person,
taking into account mental and social factors,
rather than just the symptom of a disease.
As a way of introduction I should tell you how I came to be MsHolistic.
In 2010, I met and spent time with an inspiring group of fellow travellers in Thailand who opened my eyes to healthy food and nourishment. They never criticised the food I was eating – they simply led by example and this was one of the most important lessons I could ever learn. As my passion grew, an old flatmate suggested that I educate myself formally. After thorough research the next chapter of my life became clear and I enrolled in a natural nutrition course in Vancouver BC which I successfully completed in 2014.
My approach is to guide my clients through their food journey in aid of reaching their own health and wellness goals.
From a young age I suffered with many inconveniences such as recurring tonsillitis, brittle bones, lower back pain, IBS, acne, migraines, digestive issues, allergies – you name it, I experienced it! I was told that these conditions were normal or not too much to be concerned with. And now, I can say hand on heart that my acne has cleared, my lower back pain is no more, IBS gone, digestive issues and allergies controlled, migraines vanished. Amazing hey?.
Since taking control of what I put in my body I really feel that I have repaired myself and have managed to help the people around me in the process.
I want to share with the world that choosing a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean you have to be isolated from a social life. I love eating out and laughing with friends but the difference is that now I am conscious of what goes in to my body. I certainly live my life to the fullest – travelling, laughing and enjoying food just as the world intended it – and you can too.
